The Vertex Bronze 75, built on the M100 and modeled on the W.W.W. watches Vertex supplied to the British military in the 1940s. This limited edition Bronze celebrates the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII. 40mm CuSn8 bronze case and bezel, stainless steel caseback, black dial with luminous Arabic numerals and a small seconds sub-dial at six.
Inside is a hand-wound ETA 7001 with a 42 hour power reserve, under a domed sapphire crystal with AR coating. 100 meters of water resistance on 20mm lugs. The bronze keeps changing with wear, so this one will not look like itself in a year. That is the point.
Condition: bronze case with natural patina, otherwise as shown in the pictures. Let us know if you want a closer look at anything.
In the set: foam-lined Vertex hard case, Bronze 75 booklet, and the watch on an OEM brown leather strap. Four additional straps are included: black fabric with green Marine Raider patch, OEM black rubber, OEM green NATO with Union Jack patch, and OEM tan NATO with printed lettering as the original in The Great War.
