The IWC Pilot Mark series has long been a benchmark timepiece for versatility, build quality, and timeless design. The IWC IW328208 Mark XX keeps everything that’s great about the earlier Mark series timepieces, and adds versatility, performance, and practicality. Especially with the simplified bracelet and strap changes, this is one of the most beautiful wear-with-anything watches on the market at any price point.

First, is the addition of the Calibre 32111, which takes the power reserve up to an impressive 120 hours while keeping that high 28800 beat rate and the smooth sweep that comes with it. One of the weaker points of this series has been the water resistance. If you’re a pilot, that’s not an issue, but if you’re anyone else (or just a pilot who likes to swim) then the previous Mark series watches might have been out. The Mark XX bumps that up to 100m, so you won’t be leaving your watch in your shoe when you go swimming.

The star of this show is the stunning silvery white dial. Depending on the light, this dial goes from silver to snow white, and is a complete stunner on any strap. Which is why we are tossing in a couple additional straps. And the bracelet is also one of the best on the market.
