The Cartier Calibre de Cartier, ref. W7100015. There’s very few watches that manage to have elegance to wear to any formal occasion, and still have enough masculine presence for a casual date night. The guy wearing this watch has the top two buttons on his shirt perpetually unbuttoned. He has *great* hair. The man wearing this watch smells great, and his date is going to end well. Very well.
The Calibre has more wrist presence, a proper automatic movement, and just enough sport-watch attitude without pretending it wants to go diving. Which is good, because it doesn’t.
