This is the Panerai Luminor Base, ref. PAM00112. A 44mm steel cushion case, the crown-protecting bridge, and a black “sandwich dial” where the lume sits beneath the stencil-cut numerals. No date, no sub-seconds clutter, just the layout that made Panerai Panerai.
The PAM 112 is the one collectors point at when they say “base is best.” The OP X hand-wound calibre is on full display through the sapphire caseback, and winding it every couple of days is half the pleasure of owning it. It is rated to 300m and wears exactly like a Luminor should: big, simple, and completely sure of itself.
This 2009 example is in good condition and comes with box and papers, plus the extra straps and tool shown in the photos - it is on the rubber strap, with green suede and brown leather straps included.
